From the very first email, to the final dropping off at the airport was absolutely amazing!! We used them for multiple things! Picking our group of 7 up from the airport, to drive to the Cruise port, to an all day excursion, picking us up from the cruise terminal, to a day in Windsor and then dropping off at the airport. Graham was our driver and was WONDERFUL!! I truly cannot say enough great things about him!! His knowledge, and great ideas going with the flow of things was perfect for our group!! I would HIGHLY recommend!! And I would ask for Graham to be your driver!!!!
I highly recommend our driver & guide Dean, for he is knowledgeable, professional and resourceful. This was a study trip for my husband & I where we especially wanted to visit Oxford where C.S. Lewis wrote, worshipped and taught. Visiting the C.S. Lewis home, the “Kilns”, was a first for all of us. Walking in Oxford along Addison’s Road on the River Thames was a dream come true. The small church near Lewis’ home was hard to find, but we did. Going inside and seeing the window by his pew from the Chronicles of Narnia was a highlight. I appreciated experiencing where Charles Dickens lived as a young boy by the London docks that inspired him to write classics such as Oliver Twist. Dean made it possible on our trip to Dover to see the White Cliffs from England’s side.

unfortunately due to a later start than planned due to traffic that was out of everyones control, we did feel rushed to complete the day as planned on our itinerary. But we did get to see everything we requested and have no complaints!

Kyri was by far the best driver/tour guide we’ve ever had! Can’t say enough positive things about him. He was on time picking us up at the airport, patient and good driver, treated us to water, chocolates and fresh strawberries from a local stand, suggested fun things to do after our tour was over, drove us to Hedgestones and Westminster, where he patiently waited for us. Kyri also took us to a wonderful restaurant locally where we all enjoyed our meal! We highly recommend him!🙌

I booked 4 days in early May 2024, for me and my 3 sons, with Private Tours England as part of our trip to London, Kyri was our guide. We visited the Cotswold’s, various castles, Stonehenge, and other sites outside of London and couldn’t have asked for a better time or guide. Driving from London to the sites takes time but it never felt that way, we really enjoyed our travels with Keri, he was the best and when we return for another trip we’re definitely booking with Private Tours England and requesting Kyri. Highly recommend.
Kyri made our trip to Windsor memorable in all the best ways! He is an excellent Driver with a beautifully clean vehicle. Every part of our experience with Private Tours England was wonderful. Beginning with the planning, they were quick to respond and answer any questions I had. We had a van for 8 of us to Stonehenge and the Cotswolds. Our drive, Graham, was truly perfect. He was on time, had everything ready for us. Our driver Kyri, from Private Tours London was fantastic! Our trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath was a clear highlight thanks to him. He was knowledgeable, so friendly and ensured we were able to see and do everything we wanted to. Our driver and guide, Kyri, was incredible. His knowledge of the London area was super and he talks about it in such a conversational way that it doesn't come across as a lesson. We started at Heathrow where he loaded our bags, we really wanted a bagel so he took us to this really cool hole in the wall Israeli shop, saw all of the Royal palaces, shopping areas, and ended our day at Windsor castle where we went on a pub crawl. All the time Kyri patiently waited for us in his clean and comfortable Mercedes van. We felt like royalty ourselves. I highly recommend this tour company and driver. We found the folks at Private Tours England easy to work with and very helpful. This was certainly a very memorable trip for my wife and I. Our driver, Dean was particularly GREAT! From the initial inquiry to the executed tour it was a flawless and remarkable experience. Could not more highly recommend this tour company. We had a 5 day tour of London Bath and Stonehenge.
We are a family of five with 3 children all under 16 so the challenge was to make a trip that all would enjoy. Laura at the start was so helpful, we provided her with details of what we would like to do and she made suggestions to come up with an initial itinerary. Once complete, Sandie was instrumental in organizing the layout of the tour, what to expect on each day and what would be appropriate.
Graham was our driver and was so accommodating. Once in the car he took us around but also made additions to what he thought we and our children would like and just added them on as he saw fit. He was an amazing tour guide and an exceptional human being who really cared about all of us enjoying our experience. Graham definitely went above and beyond hie job expectations - taking us to the best places for photo opportunities etc, and we are so grateful for him. Tony was our substitute driver on the last day as graham unfortunately had car trouble - he was amazing and just took us around as planned and it was like there was no break or anything in our already very busy schedule.
Each day was filled to the maximum with places to go and things to see. All tickets had already been purchased for us through the tour company and all were "fast pass" and so there was minimal waiting.
The entire holiday was so very enjoyable and there was absolutely no stress. We returned home relaxed and happy.
This tour company is a must if you are considering a private scheduled tour of London or the UK - the people are amazing at each level and you will not be disappointed.
We booked a private tour to Stonehenge and bath this year and our experience has been great. I booked this trip from the US, and their communication via email was prompt, and honest. Our driver guide graham made the whole time so pleasant and enjoyable. He was patient and accommodating and offered options when possible. I definitely recommend them for private tours.
The experience of booking, anticipating our needs for a full 13-hour day of sightseeing (London to Stonehenge to biking in the Forest of Dean to a birthday pub celebration and return to London), was professional and prompt prior to the trip. Communication was excellent (unlike other tour companies we sent inquiries to). Our driver, Shane, was highly professional in mannerism and road skill, and took time to sort our sightseeing tickets in advance as well as suggest 3 traditional pubs for dinner, plus arrange our reservation while we hiked and biked. This was a memorable special day for our family, made all the more so by the overall experience. Highly recommend.
We were fortunate enough to have found Private Tours England and tour guide/driver extraordinaire, Dean. Our first trip to London was made so very easy. We hit on most of the “must see list” and learned so much during our tour. We were even able to see some countryside and learn additional bits of history. My dad, two brothers and myself took a trip to London at the beginning of May. For four out of the 10 days we had Kyri as a guide. Kyri was by far one of the best parts of our trip! We actually looked forward to seeing him in the morning. Some of the drives we had to take were longer but Kyri made it fly by! When we go back we are making sure we get Kyri as a driver no matter what it takes!

The day after our trip we realized one member of our party had lost their passport. I texted Calvin and he immediately went, found it, and then drove 2 hours into London to get it to us. This made it possible for us to complete our trip with only a slight delay and was completely above and beyond. Thank you!
I just wanted to write a quick note to say how wonderful our private tour from London to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath was. Our expert driver, Kyri was amazing. He was so personable and kind. He kept us well informed and on time. He made sure we were so well taken care of.

I had never dealt with Private Tours England before, nor did I know anyone who had. Given how much we were spending for a customized day tour to several sites outside London, I was a little apprehensive. As it turned out, I had absolutely no reason to be! PTE’s excellent customer service began when I reached out to them about arranging a customized day tour. After telling them where my wife and I wanted to go, they put together an itinerary including those spots, and another they recommended adding. The were very open to my concerns about trying to squeeze too much into one day (we wanted to be able to enjoy the places we wanted to see leisurely), and, after a couple back and forths, we settled on an itinerary.
We were particularly impressed with our driver/guide, Kyri. He picked us up on time at our Airbnb in a very comfortable Mercedes mini-van, and even had croissants for us to enjoy as we headed out of the city. At all the sites we visited (there were 4), Kyri gave us all the time we wanted to look around; he never rushed us. And he went above and beyond to
make sure we had a memorable day. Since we were going to be out all day, we had asked for a lunch break to be scheduled into the day. Kyri could have very easily taken us to a crowded, rushed, touristy place for lunch, but he didn’t. He put in the effort to find an authentic English country Inn well off the beaten path so we could enjoy a truly unique experience. Between the heavy traffic, Kyri giving us the time we wanted to visit each site, and a lunch break that took longer than expected, we were over an hour late getting back to our Airbnb. Without any grumbling or complaining from Kyri or PTE. They really do exemplify excellent customer service.
We would use PTE again in a heart beat!
My wife and I just completed an extended holiday in London. On short notice I reached out to Private Tours England (PTE) to surprise my son with a whirlwind tour of London before a summer trip. From the first outreach to drop off at the end of the day we had the most wonderful tour of London with Mark, an experienced, knowledgeable and highly skilled chauffer.
PTE and I coordinated pick up, itinerary and added wish list - traffic and weather dependent. The staff responded quickly and gave good and fair guidance on what could be accomplished in a 3/4 day.
Our guide and driver, Mark was prompt, friendly, informative and flexible. His knowledge of the streets and traffic allowed us to see the majority of sites on my list which was a real thrill as we got so much done. We had the opportunity to stop and enjoy the palace, St. Paul's cathedral, the tower, walk the tower bridge, enjoy a great lunch on the Thames and walk parliament square to be up close to Big Ben. We then had a relaxed drive to Oxford and the drop off was right at the door of our summer accommodation. We achieved a lot of what we wanted to because of Mark and look forward to visiting again.
I have traveled the world with tour guides and drivers and Mark is in the top 10! PTE really made the trip special and seamless from plane to destination.
Private Tours England was absolutely wonderful to work with. They worked diligently with me so that my husband and I could squeeze in tours of both Canterbury and Stratford-upon-Avon although the two were geographically challenging to accomplish in a day and a half! We were just looking to hit the high points of each city and be able to see where we might like to spend more time when we come back for another visit, and the staff was more than willing to accommodate us in this endeavor.
As for our tour guide Mark R., I just really cannot say enough good things. He was extremely accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Most of all, he was flexible and fun to be around, especially since we spent several hours both days in the car! Mark was always early to pick us up or drop us off at each location, making the last two days of our vacation relaxing and stress-free. We will definitely call on Private Tours England again in the future!

PTE was fantastic to work with and the driver Mark McQueen was a complete gem! Incredibly knowledgeable with history and the local ins and outs. Found us the best restaurants and was throughly entertaining while doing so. We had an absolutely fantastic trip with PTE. From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore the UK. We were especially delighted to see Shane as our driver on the last day—it was the perfect way to end our journey.
Despite a few issues in Scotland, PTE went above and beyond in their response, offering generous compensation when we only expected reimbursement for a couple of small items. We truly appreciate their thoughtfulness. The group had a wonderful day with access to electric carts, great weather, and lots of memories. Meanwhile, Mary and I had an incredible time visiting Stirling Castle, seeing the Kelpies, and soaking in the beauty of the Highlands.

I can’t say enough good about Private Tours England! My husband and I just returned last weekend from a 4-day tour. Our driver, Mark, was incredible! He met us at our port (after a 12-day transatlantic cruise) and he not only was a fabulous driver but such a great tour guide. It was so great to be able to be picked up in the morning, tour all day with not worrying about driving, and then be dropped back off at our hotel at night. I highly recommend them!
From the initial planning to the four days in London every detail was handled and everything went off exactly as planned. We had Dean as a driver. From the moment we landed at Heathrow until he dropped us in Birmingham he accommodated all of our wishes. He was always on time, had links to our entry tickets, was patient with two of our group with mobility issues and was a wealth of information about the city.
We really enjoyed our custom experience with Private Tours England. We had a compressed schedule. Kyle did a wonderful job of giving us options and allowing us to make the most of our time to visit Stonehenge, the Salisbury Cathedral with the Magna Carta, and Mompesson House. Our trip with PTE was a great experience that we would do again. Booking the trip was easy, they were able to work all the things we wanted to see and do into a short 12 day frame (we traveled throughout the whole country) and made the whole process seamless. Before the trip we talked about anything extra (afternoon teas, reservations for Valentine’s Day, etc.) and they were able to make it all happen and make the trip memorable for us. Traveling with a child under 2 can be tough, but PTE helping us to get everything booked and really just making it so we had to “show up” made it much easier.
Our driver for the trip, Dean, was absolutely phenomenal. He had a wealth of knowledge of not just the country and attractions we were going to, but also many other subjects. With how much time we spent in the car he really tried to keep us entertained and talking. Even on a day when we had no driving, he spent the day walking with us and was truly a pleasure to be around. The car was always spotless inside and out, and we always knew that no matter where we were going that we would be on time. His attitude was always fantastic, and dealing with a sometimes screaming 2 year old I was thankful for his patience!
We have tried group tours and private tours, and I can say that well we always had a great experience on group tours, the service on a private tour and the ability to make your own schedule is something that will keep me coming back. PTE was great to deal with and we will be looking to them for our next trip to the UK.
This might be the best experience I’ve ever had with a company in terms of customer service! Leading into our trip, Megan went out of her way to adjust our itinerary to our needs and wishes and even discounted the trip based on one of our party falling out of the trip last minute so that we could afford it.

Both my husband and I truly enjoyed the journey with Private Tours England (PTE) to Manchester. We had a great time touring Old Trafford. We had Mark to thank for bringing us to Cotsworld and driving us along the picturesque countryside. It was beautiful and breathtaking. If there is one place we want to return, it would be Cotsworld - to explore more and spend some time breathing the fresh cold air and mix with the friendly locals. We hope to do this with PTE again in our next trip to the UK. Mark, our tour guide, was wonderful!

The first circuit of our tour was of England and Wales with driver guide Kyri. The experience was fabulous. Kyri was very personable, humorous, knowledgeable and expert at adjusting our itinerary on the go. Next we met driver guide Callum for a journey through Scotland. From Edinburgh through the Highlands and Isle of Skye, Callum showed his local knowledge, passion for all things Scottish and a commitment to service. Overall, our experience was excellent & highly recommended.

Our large group came to London from the US for my wife’s 50th birthday. Our day spent with Dean & Shane was nothing short of spectacular! His offered creative suggestions to help make the afternoon with my daughter fun and enjoyable. Fantastic time exploring the world outside of London. Our guide Dean was terrific. Knowledgeable, personable and quickly understood our interests. He recommended sites to see that added to our understanding of history and the areas we travelled to. The planning group at Private Tours England was very responsive and included everything we wanted to see. The one observation was that we did a bit a backtracking when travelling between towns which took up time and didn’t add to the experience. On the whole it was a wonderful trip and we are most appreciative.
