I booked 4 days in early May 2024, for me and my 3 sons, with Private Tours England as part of our trip to London, Kyri was our guide. We visited the Cotswold’s, various castles, Stonehenge, and other sites outside of London and couldn’t have asked for a better time or guide. Driving from London to the sites takes time but it never felt that way, we really enjoyed our travels with Keri, he was the best and when we return for another trip we’re definitely booking with Private Tours England and requesting Kyri. Highly recommend.

Adjacent to King’s Cross Station is the stunning St Pancras International, London’s iconic destination station.

Its striking neo-Gothic facade served as the backdrop for the unforgettable scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where the Weasleys’ magical Ford Anglia takes flight.

Piccadilly Circus

Piccadilly Circus, London, England

A pivotal scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 unfolds at Piccadilly Circus, where Harry, Hermione, and Ron dash through London’s vibrant West End.

Relive the moment when the trio narrowly escapes a speeding London bus in this bustling and iconic location.

Thank you for a great tour!! We had a very good experience with your company and especially with Calvin as our guide. Everything was organized very well and as a result we had a stressless week of sightseeing in London, the Cotswolds and the Cliffs of Dover! We will certainly recommend your company to anyone coming to London for vacation as well as for any future trip we may take to Wales or Scotland.

Millennium Bridge

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince begins with a striking scene of the Millennium Bridge collapsing into the Thames.

This pedestrian-only suspension bridge connects Bankside with the City and offers stunning views of St. Paul’s Cathedral as you walk from the south to the north side.

Charing Cross Road

Charing Cross Road in London’s West End is the Muggle location for the wizarding world’s Leaky Cauldron, the gateway to Diagon Alley.

Known for its specialist and second-hand bookshops, this street exudes an intriguing charm that mirrors the magic of Harry Potter’s world.

The Leaky Cauldron

Leadenhall Market, England, Harry Potter Tours
Leadenhall Market, England

Leadenhall Market, a Victorian gem in the City of London, was the filming location for Diagon Alley in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

The entrance to the Leaky Cauldron is depicted as an optician in Bull’s Head Passage within the market, famed for its ornate painted roof and historic ambiance.

We had such a wonderful time with Mason. He is super knowledgeable and really showed us a great time. It really was a perfect match for us. Thank you so much and please know what a great guide Mason is! Thanks again!

Gringotts Wizarding Bank

The majestic interior of Australia House on the Strand provided the setting for Gringotts Wizarding Bank in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Opened by King George V in 1918, this grand landmark perfectly captures the grandeur of the wizarding world’s only bank.

Westminster Tube Station

Westminster Tube Station is prominently featured in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, where Harry travels through this iconic location.

Situated in one of London’s most historic areas, Westminster is surrounded by landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, Downing Street, and the London Eye.

Lambeth Bridge

Lambeth Bridge is the site of the Knight Bus’s daring maneuver in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, where it squeezes between two double-decker buses.

Just downstream is Westminster Bridge. A fun detail: these bridges are painted red and green to symbolize the leather benches of the Palace of Westminster’s two houses—the House of Lords (red) and the House of Commons (green).

The Making of Harry Potter

While not part of the driver-guided tour, you can choose to include a visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.

Here, you’ll step onto authentic sets like the original Hogwarts Great Hall, encounter animatronic creatures, and wander down Diagon Alley. Located at the studios where all eight films were created, this tour unveils the magic of spellbinding special effects and behind-the-scenes secrets.
